At Radiometer, we remain committed to making public health a top priority and are happy to announce a monetary donation to the global Red Cross COVID-19 response fund.

As healthcare providers around the world fight the outbreak of COVID-19, we remain committed to maintaining critical deliveries, while keeping our customers and colleagues safe from further spread of the virus.

In addition, we’re happy to announce our support of the global COVID-19 relief efforts by donating DKK 50,000 (USD 8,100) to the global Red Cross COVID-19 response.

“Radiometer’s commitment to supporting both our customers, our associates, and the global community is how we put our promise that whatever comes next, we make sure life comes first into practice,” says Henrik Schimmell, President of Radiometer.

”We’re happy to support International Red Cross and their more than 17 million volunteers globally who are all helping to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus and its consequences in local communities worldwide.”

“We are very thankful for Radiometer’s donation which will contribute to the important work of Red Cross/Red Crescent, supporting Emergency Medical Services, Primary Health Care in the local community, as well as information campaigns about COVID-19 to prevent the virus from spreading”, Bjarke Skaaning, Head of International Disaster Management at Danish Red Cross.

About the Red Cross:

The Red Cross already works in local communities with monitoring and reporting of signs of disease, so that the local population can prepare for any sudden outbreaks of disease. In many countries, they, therefore, directly support local authorities by acting as the authorities' extended arms and legs in the field of health, detecting and screening local residents for Corona symptoms while raising awareness of the virus. The Red Cross thus helps to slow down the spread of infection so that the already pressured health systems in vulnerable areas can keep up and the residents can get the help they need.
